Ahlsell acquires Movab
Ahlsell Sweden, through its subsidiary Prevex AB, has signed an agreement to acquire Maskin och Verktyg i Skaraborg AB and Maskin & Verktyg i Falköping (Movab), a well-established hardware retailer with locations in Skövde, Falköping, and Götene. The company employs 33 people and has an annual turnover of approximately 115 million SEK.
Movab has a solid local presence and a large customer base, to whom it provides products in hydraulics, industry supplies, tools, workwear, PPE, welding and gas. Through its service workshop in Götene, Movab also helps its customers to make sustainable choices. With the acquisition, Ahlsell strengthens its presence in Skaraborg, while customers are offered a wider range of products and a broader service offering.
Closing of the transaction is expected to take place in February 2025.
