Ahlsell acquires Skydda

Skydda is a specialized distributor of personal protective equipment (PPE) focusing on retail customers in the Nordics. The acquired business is estimated to generate approximately SEK 550 million in revenue across the three countries and currently employs 56 employees. Through this acquisition Ahlsell expands and broadens its offering to retailers, a segment in which we are active through Gelia and Bekken & Strøm.

Ahlsell already offers several of Bergman & Beving's products, and the acquisition is a strategic step forward. Ahlsell can provide expertise in logistics and additionally offer Skydda's customers access to a better service offering and a wider product range.

The acquisition requires approval from the competition authorities in the respective countries and is expected to be completed during 2^nd quarter of 2025.
